BLOOMINGTON-The 12th annual Share The Light event put on by the Midwest Food Bank(MFB) is on the docket for weekend activities in Bloomington-Normal.

Beginning at noon on Thursday, a silent auction will run through 5:00 p.m. on Friday, holding 150 items up for bid. The three day event is capped off with a dinner and live auction held at the MFB warehouse on Saturday. Dinner will be provided by Baxter’s beginning at 6:00 p.m. with the auction to follow.

“This event is an opportunity to share the ways that volunteers and donors are caring for those in need through the Midwest Food Bank mission,” says Tara Ingham, Executive Director of Midwest Food Bank Bloomington-Normal.

“We look forward to partnering with supporters through this annual fundraiser to bring hope to those facing food insecurity.”
