BLOOMINGTON – Police are releasing new information about a vehicle that was possibly used during an armed robbery and shooting last week on Bloomington’s southeast side.
Officers were called on Wednesday, May 25 around 2:38 p.m. for a hold up at a pawn shop in the 2000 block of Ireland Grove Road. Bloomington Police said an employee had been battered and located evidence that shots were fired inside the business.
There is believed to be two suspects. The suspects appear to be black or Hispanic males, in their twenties, according to police. During the incident, both were wearing masks. One suspect was wearing a yellow traffic style vest, the other was wearing a blue vest with white lines.
BPD is asking for the public’s help to locate a dark gray 2013 to 2018 Cadillac ATS with heavily tinted side/rear windows and sunroof. Authorities say this is a not a common vehicle.
