NPD reports a white SUV left the scene in a high rate of speed, where police discovered the vehicle was stolen in Chicago earlier this week.
While investigating the vehicle, police allegedly found a loaded Springfield brand handgun with a loaded magazine inside the vehicle.
McLean County prosecutors charged Malik Alexander-Romello Wilson, 23, of Chicago, with reckless discharge of a firearm, aggravated robbery, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, and criminal tresspass.
No bond information is available and the investigation is ongoing.
