New mobile app lets users tip off McLean County Sheriff and communicate directly

BLOOMINGTON – The McLean County Sheriff’s Office is going digital. A new mobile app will allow users to communicate directly with the Sheriff’s Office for a number of issues.

The Sheriff’s Office said, “This app is another public outreach effort [..] to better serve our community.”

The app allows users to submit tips on crime and/or suspects, search the jail for inmate information, find the sex offender registry, apply for a job and more.

The app is available for download on the Apple App Store as well as the Google Play store for use on Android devices. To download the app go to your device app store and search ‘McLean County Sheriff.’
