LEXINGTON – Authorities in Lexington are working with the McLean County Sheriff’s Office and Illinois State Police to solve seven burglaries to three different businesses that have happened since mid-November.
According to a Facebook post, Lexington Police say they have several persons of interest and are working to develop a suspect(s).
The True Value Hardware has been burglarized on five different occasions between Nov. 18 and Jan. 4, according to police.
The other businesses that were burglarized are DaT Bar, which occurred in the early morning hours of Nov. 19. Over Thanksgiving weekend, Mounce Automotive reported their car wash change machine had been burglarized.
Lexington Police say at this time, they don’t have reason to believe the burglary to the car wash is connected to True Value or DaT Bar.
