TAZEWELL COUNTY – In the aftermath of Tuesday’s severe weather, Tazewell County Clerk John Ackerman offered a helping hand to Fulton County.
Late on Tuesday, the Fulton County Clerks and Recorder’s office made an announcement that their office would be closed today and that staff members would be coming and going as they gathered voting supplies and organized results.
According to a news release, Ackerman has contacted Fulton County Clerk Patrick O’Brian and offered his staff’s help if needed with their election tabulation work.
The Fulton County office extended its gratitude to all the first responders who provided assistance during the storm.
The Fulton County Emergency Services and Disaster Agency reports no deaths as a result of the storm. Additionally, multiple injuries along with structural damage have been reported to the ESDA.
Fulton County election results will be accessible in the coming days.
