Bloomington Police make Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault arrest

BLOOMINGTON – The Bloomington Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division concluded a lengthy investigation on Wednesday that dealt with multiple counts of Sexual Assault.

BPD Officers arrested 26-year old Michelle Blessent without incident on Wednesday. Blessent has been charged with five counts of Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault.

Bond was set at $1 million, requiring Blessent to post 10%, or $100,000 cash to be released from jail.

The circumstances behind this incident are still pending investigation by the Bloomington Police Department.
