Two residences, vehicle struck by gunfire in Bloomington

BLOOMINGTON – Police are probing a shots fired incident that happened over the weekend on Bloomington’s west side.

According to a news release, police were called Saturday around 1:45 a.m. to the area of Oakland Avenue and Morris Avenue. When officers arrived on scene, they located evidence that a shooting had occurred.

Authorities said two residences and a vehicle were stuck by gunfire. No injuries were reported, according to BPD.

No other information was available about the incident.

The shooting is still under investigation by Bloomington police. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Bloomington Police Department at 309-820-8888.
