SAVOY – A Central Illinois resident became a multimillionaire after winning a scratch-off grand prize.
The winning ticket, worth $5 million, was sold at Schnuck’s supermarket in Savoy.
Illinois lottery says the player scratched a $30 card into a $5 million pay day.
The winning ticket grants a $50,000 bonus for the small-town grocer.
So far this year, Illinois lottery players have cashed in over $100 million dollars in prizes.
