DEWITT COUNTY – Fire investigators in DeWitt County are working to determine how a home caught fire early Monday night.
Clinton Firefighters responded to Brush College Road around 4 p.m.
Once on the scene, crews found a fully engulfed house and a victim outside.
Crews requested assistance from the Wapella, Kenney, Hickory Point, Warrensburg, Maroa, and Waynesville fire departments.
According to a news release, crews battled the flames for four hours.
There is no damage estimate, and the victim’s condition is unknown.
