BLOOMINGTON – Bloomington police are asking for the public’s help in solving several residential burglary cases tied to Asian victims who are small business owners.

Over the past four weeks, authorities in Bloomington and Normal responded to three residential burglary calls on the east side of the twin cities.

Authorities say Hispanic males in their 30s or 40s focus on areas between Veterans Pkwy., Towanda Barnes Rd., G.E. Rd., and Empire St.

BPD reports that burglaries have occurred at unoccupied residences.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Bloomington Police.

COVID-19 has made us more aware of the risk.  Going to work every day for some people means…
