McLean County man faces multiple battery charges

MCLEAN COUNTY – A McLean County man stands accused of multiple domestic battery charges after allegedly pushing his girlfriend down their stairs.

Earlier this month, Bloomington Police responded to Carle BroMenn Medical Center for a victim with a broken arm and multiple bruises.

The victim told police her boyfriend, Anthony Reed, 56, allegedly pushed her down the stairs after an argument.

As a result, McLean County prosecutors charged Reed with one count of aggravated domestic battery and two counts of domestic battery.

Reed was previously convicted of domestic battery in 2017.
