Normal Police need help identifying suspects accused of 2022 shooting

NORMAL – A 21-year-old Normal man stands accused of firing a weapon during a shooting in 2022.

In July of 2022, Normal Police responded to the 2-hundred block of West Will Street for a shooting.

While Amir Gaston faces charges of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, authorities remain on the hunt for two more suspects.

Normal Police released the video of the suspects.

The first suspect is described as a black male with long hair, last seen wearing a grey sweatsuit.

The second suspect is described as a black male with short hair, last seen wearing jeans and a multicolored hoodie.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact NPD Detective Darren Wolters.
