NORMAL – Rivian announced it’s on track to meet its 2024 production goals on Tuesday.

According to Rivian, it produced 13,980 vehicles at its manufacturing facility in Normal in the first quarter. This is in line with Rivian’s goal to produce 57,000 vehicles annually.

The Normal facility also delivered 13,588 during the first quarter.

These numbers come after Rivian announced last month that it will begin production of its R2 vehicles at the Normal facility in 2026.

Rivian is expected to release its first-quarter financial results for 2024 after the market closes on May 7. A live webcast to discuss Rivian’s performance will be held the same day. Anyone interested in the webcast can sign up here.
