The Baby Fold opens Center of Excellence

BLOOMINGTON – On Tuesday, The Baby Fold held a grand opening for its Center of Excellence on Market Street in Bloomington. It’s the first facility in Bloomington for the non-profit.

The building is 7,000 square feet with 2,000 being used for storage. The center will offer trainings for several areas including reflective supervision, TheraPlay, trust based relational intervention and autism strategies.

The Baby Fold has already held a trauma informed care training for human resource professionals.

“There’s more things that we can do. Not only with our partnership with The Chamber but with businesses here locally, our employees, the employees of other organizations,” said President & CEO Clete Winkelmann. “That’s really what the vision is here. We want to serve this community and meet the needs wherever those needs exist.”
