BLOOMINGTON – The Bloomington Bison announced its full 72-game schedule for the 2024-2025 season on Tuesday.
According to a news release, Its first game will be held on Oct. 19 against the Toledo Walleye at Grossinger Motors Arena. The regular season will last through April 13, 2025, when they will play their last regular season game against the Kalamazoo Wings.
Of the 72 games, 36 will be held in Grossinger Motors Arena in Bloomington, and the other 36 on the road.
55 of the Bison’s games will be played against central division rivals, including the Fort Wayne Komets, the Kalamazoo Wings, the Cincinnati Cyclones, the Indy Fuel, the Iowa Heartlanders and the Toledo Walleye.
On Tuesday, the Bison also named Jesse Messier the assistant coach for the upcoming 2024-25 season.
“Jesse Messier is a highly accomplished coach with a successful track record at the Tier 2 Level, USports and in the OHL,” Bloomington Bision Head Coach Phillip Barski said. “His keen hockey intellect and attention to detail made his hiring an obvious choice. Our previous relationship and the trust and familiarity we share further solidified this decision. I feel incredibly fortunate to have someone of his caliber and character by my side on this journey. We would like to welcome Jesse and his girlfriend Cristina to the Bloomington Family.”
