Bloomington Police probing shooting late Wednesday night

BLOOMINGTON – Bloomington Police are probing a late Wednesday night shooting in the 200 block of E. Wood St.

BPD reports officers responded to the scene around 11:15 p.m., where several witnesses say they heard multiple rounds of gunfire.

There were no injuries, nor were there any injuries.

“We depend heavily on community members to help keep our community safe. If you see something, say something. If you hear something about a crime, please let us know,” Bloomington Police Chief Jamal Simington said in a news release. “We will work diligently to identify perpetrators and solve cases throughout the city.”
