Woman from Normal accused of filming a sexual encounter with an animal

BLOOMINGTON – A 34-year-old woman from Normal stands accused of filming a sexual encounter with an animal.

The investigation into Sarah Howard began when the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children alerted Bloomington Police about the uploading of videos believed to be child pornography.

After multiple search warrants, police said Howard allegedly sexually assaulted a child and performed sexual acts with an animal.

During the search, police also allegedly found evidence of child pornography.

McLean County Prosecutors charged Howard with Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault with a victim less than 13.

Additionally, Howard faces five counts of allegedly having sex with an animal, five counts of reproduction of child pornography, five counts of possession of child pornography, and three counts of production of pornography with an animal.

Howard remains behind bars in the McLean County Jail until her trial.
