SPRINGFIELD – A University of Illinois Springfield political science professor said too much was going against Vice President Kamala Harris Tuesday.
“With a vice president for an unpopular president,” Kent Redfield said Wednesday morning in listing her shortcomings, “people with serious concerns about the economy and immigration, and Vice President Harris starting as late as she did, people knew what they were getting with Trump.”
Redfield said reproductive rights were important to people, but that issue was on the ballot separately in some states.
And, with a laugh, Redfield said with the race as decisive as it was – with no suspense now – political watchers have some unexpected time on their hands this week.
