How MLK day will affect Normal’s trash schedule

NORMAL – Trash schedules for Normal will look a bit different due to Martin Luther King Jr. Day next Monday.

The Town of Normal will only be collecting household trash on Monday, Jan. 20 due to Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

For those whose trash day falls on Mondays, all other forms of waste such as bulk waste, landscape waste, and brush will be collected the following week.

Anyone whose trash day isn’t Monday won’t be affected and will have their trash taken on the normal schedule.

The Electronics Recycling Center as well as the other town offices will be closed for the holiday.
