Roads to close for Sweet Corn and Blues Festival in Normal

Normal – Due to The Sweet Corn and Blues Festival taking place this weekend, the following streets will be closed:

Friday:
• North Street from Fell Avenue to Uptown Circle
• Broadway Avenue at the intersection of Broadway Avenue and North Street
• Constitution Boulevard
• Uptown Circle will be signed “No Parking” after 2 p.m. and will be closed at 3:30 p.m.
• E. Beaufort Street will remain open from the alley to Linden Street until Saturday morning, but will be signed “No Parking” after 11 p.m.

Saturday and Sunday:

• North Street from Fell Avenue to Uptown Circle
• Broadway Avenue at the intersection of Broadway Avenue and North Street
• Constitution Boulevard
• Uptown Circle
• E. Beaufort Street from Uptown Circle to Linden Street will be closed at 6:00 am. Streets will reopen on Sunday evening as tear down permits.

Parking will be free in the College Avenue parking deck and overflow parking will be available in the Frontier lot on Mulberry Street. The ISU parking deck on the corner of South School Street and West Beaufort Street (southwest of Watterson) is also available free of charge and is a good option at peak times.

The Sweet Corn and Blues Festival hours are 10:00 am-5:00 pm on Saturday and 11:00 am-4:00 pm on Sunday.
