CornBelters seek playoff berth, Cardinals seek sweep on WJBC

The St. Louis Cardinals look to finish a four-game sweep of the Arizona Diamondbacks as they play tonight at Chase Field.

Carlos Martinez (12-6) is scheduled to pitch for the Cardinals against the Diamonbacks’ Rubby De La Rosa (11-5).

John Rooney and Al Hrabosky have the call starting at 7:45 p.m. on WJBC and the Cardinals Radio Network.

Tim Lewis and Jim Ahart will cover all the top sports news on Sportstalk before the game starting at 6.

The Normal CornBelters can clinch the team’s first playoff berth in franchise history tonight with a win at the Gateway Grizzlies. Normal’s magic number was trimmed to one on Wednesday with a Florence loss.
