The Illinois State football hosts its 2015 home opener on Saturday, and ISU head coach Brock Spack will talk about his team’s game against 2014 MEAC champion Morgan State on The Brock Spack Show tonight at 6 p.m. at Schooners in Bloomington.
The show is presented by Country Financial representatives Steve Petersen and Melissa Isenburg and by Miller Lite.
Coach Spack will talk with co-hosts Dick Luedke and Ted Schmitz, and will be joined by sophomore defensive tackle Dalton Keene as this week’s player guest. Keene recorded three tackles against the Hawkeyes last week in the season opener and played in 15 games, with four starts at defensive tackle last season. In 2014, Keene finished with 29 tackles, including 13 solo tackles.
After the show, WJBC will take you to Great American Ballpark where the St. Louis Cardinals begin a four-game weekend series against visit the Cincinnati Reds.
Jamie Garcia will pitch for the Cardinals against Reds’ rookie lefthander John Lamb.
The Normal CornBelters will make their postseason debut in Traverse City, Michigan for the start of a best-of-three Frontier League Divisional Series against the Beach Bums. Greg Halbleib has the call at 5:50 p.m. on WJBC.com. Game two and three, if, necessary, will be at the Corn Crib Saturday and Sunday.
