Sara Evans Christmas Tour coming to Coliseum for YMCA fundraiser

BLOOMINGTON – U.S. Cellular Coliseum has announced country star Sara Evans is bringing her Christmas tour to Bloomington on December 3.

The concert is a fundraiser for the Bloomington-Normal YMCA’s Strong Kids program. B104 and 93.7 Nash Icon are sponsors for the concert.

Multi-platinum selling country singer and songwriter Sara Evans has been called “one of the most compelling vocalists of her generation.” Since emerging in the late 1990s, Evans has had five No. 1 hits and has sold more than six million albums.

“The holidays have always been a special time for me and my family to get together and give thanks for everything we have been blessed with, “ Evans said in a news release.

“We’re incredibly gratified and truly blessed to have Ms. Evans bring her tour to Bloomington for the benefit of those who need the Y”, indicated B.J. Wilken, YMCA Executive Director.

Tickets for this event are $100, $60, $45 and $30 and will go on sale Friday at 11a.m. Tickets are available at the U.S. Cellular Coliseum box office, by phone at 1-800-745-3000 at www.Ticketmaster.com and all Ticketmaster outlets.
