ISU adds new walk on player to roster

NORMAL- The Illinois State women’s basketball program and head coach Barb Smith signed Morgan Radtke as a walk-on, the team announced Monday.

Radtke, a Palatine, Illinois, native, joins the team as a guard.

“We’re very happy to add Morgan to our Redbird family,” Smith said. “She has a tremendous attitude and work ethic. Morgan has been very committed to this process and is extremely motivated to help our team.”

Radtke is a 5-foot-10 guard who averaged 11 points a game as a senior. She also played soccer and was on the swimming and diving team at Palatine.
