WJBC Athletes of the Week: Oct. 26, 2015

WJBC, in partnership with Frontier Communications and Roberts Trophies, is proud to present the WJBC Athletes of the Week.

Winners for the week of Oct. 26, 2015:

Kate Hoerdemann – Central Catholic Volleyball

Kate was named MVP of the Quincy Notre Dame tournament after leading the Saints to a 5-0 record. She recorded 49 kills, 60 digs and 37 service points.

Emmanuel Ndjoli – Normal Community Soccer

Emmanuel scored the game-winning goal in the second overtime to lead the Ironmen to a win over Joliet Central in the semifinals of the Class 3A Joliet West Regional, then scored both goals in Normal Community’s win over Joliet West in the regional final.
