Sandra Kay Foli, 75, of Secor, died at 4:30 p.m., Nov. 5 at her home.

Hermemorial service will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday atCarmody-Flynn Funeral Home, Bloomington withRev. Ken Martin officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m., Saturday at the funeral home. A private family interment will be held at Camp Butler National Cemetery, Springfield. Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home, Bloomington is assisting the family with arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to the Danvers Lions Club.

Sandra was born Feb. 11, 1940 in Bloomington, the daughter of Marion and RonaldaNowling Otto. She married William L. Foli on Dec. 29, 1962 in Denver, Colo. He died on July 31, 2015.

Survivors include a son, Bryan (Becca) Foli of Champaign; three grandchildren, Connor (Hannah) Foli, Isaac Foli and Eliza Foli; two sisters-in-law, Donna L. Foli and Sharon (James) Jaeger, both of Bloomington, two nieces, Michelle and Stephanie Jaeger; and a nephew Dean Otto II.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Dean Otto.

Sandra was a graduate of Bradley University and worked as a medical technologist. She lived in Hawaii for over 20 years. In 1957 she was the McLean County Fair Queen. She was active in the Lions Club and other social and service organizations. After a serious illness; she became a fitness enthusiast and set local records in weight lifting for her age group. Her story was reported by local media and soon was featured on national news outlets. She appeared on the Steve Harvey Show and America’s Got Talent. She loved her friends and family and will be greatly missed.
