The Brock Spack Show moves to Wednesday night this week to make way for an Illinois State basketball home game against South Dakota State on Thursday.

Coach Spack will talk to WJBC’s Dick Luedke and Ted Schmitz as they preview the regular season finale vs. South Dakota on Saturday.

The show is presented by Country Financial representatives Steve Petersen and Melissa Isenburg and by Miller Lite. It can be heard on WJBC 1230 AM and WJBC.com starting at 6 p.m.

The Illinois State women’s basketball team opens its home season tonight against Murray State. It is the first time the two teams will meet on the hardwood in over a decade.

Octavia Crump was one of two Redbirds to score in double figures, as she led the Illinois State women’s basketball team in its season opener Friday night at the Stroh Center. Despite Crump’s 19 points, the Redbirds fell to Bowling Green, 70-52, after BGSU outscored ISU, 21-7, in the second quarter.

Tim Lewis will have the call starting at 7 p.m. on WJBC and WJBC.com.

COVID-19 has made us more aware of the risk.  Going to work every day for some people means…
