The Illinois State women’s basketball team will continue its Missouri Valley Conference road swing, as it travels to in-state rival Southern Illinois tonight, before heading to Evansville on Sunday.
ISU (2-1, 1-2 in the MVC) faces a Saluki team that's 3-12 overall, 1-3 in the league.
R.C. McBride and Megan McCracken will call tonight's game starting at 6 p.m. on WJBC 1230 AM, 93.7 FM and here on WJBC.com.
High School Basketball
Central Catholic travels to Pontiac for a Corn Belt Conference battle in boys basketball. WJEZ 98.9 FM and WJEZ.com will have the call at 7:30 p.m.
Thunder
The Bloomington Thunder can move up in the Southern Professional Hockey League standings this weekend during a three-game series against their neighbors.
The Thunder host the Peoria Rivermen on Friday at 7:05 p.m. before traveling to Carver Arena for games at 7:15 p.m. Saturday and 3:15 p.m. Sunday. Entering this weekend, the Thunder (11-17-1, 23 points, 10th SPHL) are in tenth place but just one point behind Columbus and only five points out of sixth place. The top eight teams enter the playoffs.
