NORMAL – Parents looking for an activity that their kids can do during the upcoming winter break from school can turn to the Children’s Discovery Museum.
Public Programs Educator Angie Gulley told WJBC’s Susan Saunders the camps run Monday-Wednesday each week of Unit 5 and District 87’s holiday break.
“We have a different theme each day. The camps run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.,” Gulley said. “The kids are going to be in the classroom doing themed activities and also enjoying playtime out on the museum floors after lunch.
Kids can either bring their own lunch or parents can sign up for a box lunch from Avanti’s.
The cost is $40 per day for museum members and $45 for non-members.
