Illinois State, Illinois Wesleyan basketball on WJBC tonight

The Illinois State and Illinois Wesleyan men will form a basketball doubleheader of sorts on the the final Monday of 2014.

Dan Muller's Redbirds will play their final game before Missouri Valley Conference play begins as ISU (7-4) plays host to Quincy. The Hawks (6-5) are a Division II program.

This will be the Redbirds' first game action since a win over IPFW on Dec. 22.

Dick Luedke, Mike Matthews and Tim Lewis will have all the action on WJBC 1230 AM, the Country Financial Illinois State Radio Network, the WJBC app and WJBC.com starting at 5 p.m.

After Sportstalk, Ron Rose's Titans will return to the floor for the first time since a win over Loras on Dec. 16 as Wesleyan opens the Trivent Financial for Lutherans Tournament in Thousand Oaks, California.

The Titans (7-2) take on Nazareth College of Rochester, New York. Pregame will start at 9:30 p.m.  and tipoff is scheduled for 10 p.m. on WJBC 1230 AM and wjbc.com. The winner advances to the tournament title game on Tuesday.
