Illinois Wesleyan’s Ehresman named CCIW Player of Week

NAPERVILLE – Illinois Wesleyan’s Rebekah Ehresman was named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin Women’s Basketball Player of the Week on Monday.

Ehresman, a sophomore guard from Gridley, Illinois and El Paso-Gridley High School helped the Titans to a pair of wins at the Pacific Lutheran Tournament in Tacoma, Washington over the weekend. She finished with 20 points, five rebounds, three assists, and five steals in an 83-72 win over Puget Sound on Dec. 18 and followed with a double-double of 16 points and 11 rebounds, along with two steals in a 65-50 win over the host Lutes on Dec. 19. She was chosen as the Most Valuable Player and was named to the all-tournament team.
