ISU, IWU hoops, Intercity Wrestling Meet on WJBC

Off to a 2-0 start in Missouri Valley Conference play and winners of five of their last six games, the Redbirds are aiming for their fourth-straight victory when ISU hosts Loyola tonight.

Dick Luedke, Mike Matthews and studio host Tim Lewis will have the call at 6 p.m. starting with Redbird Preview on WJBC 1230 AM, the Country Financial Illinois State Radio Network, WJBC.com, and the WJBC app.

WJBC will for the first time offer live coverage of the Intercity Wrestling Meet at Normal Community High School.

Bloomington, which is ranked No. 7 in Class 2 A, has won the tournament the last four seasons and 20 of the last 22.

Larry Duling will call the action with guest analyst Mike Manahan at 5 p.m. on WJBC.com.

The Illinois Wesleyan men’s basketball team is back at Shirk Center for the first time in over a month is plays host to the Wheaton Thunder.

Eric Stock and Joel Swanson have the call starting at 7 p.m. on WJBC.com.
