Redbirds, Salukis meet after first MVC defeats

After seeing its season-best four-game winning streak snapped at Indiana State Saturday, the Illinois State men’s basketball team aims to bounce back when the Redbirds (9-8, 3-1 MVC) face Southern Illinois (14-3, 3-1 MVC) tonight at SIU Arena.

The Redbirds and Salukis are both also coming off of their first MVC loss and are tied with Evansville for second-place in the Missouri Valley Conference behind Wichita State.

Dick Luedke, Mike Matthews and studio host Tim Lewis will have the call on WJBC 1230 AM, 93.7 FM, the WJBC Country Financial Illinois State Radio Network, WJBC.com and the WJBC app starting at 6 p.m.
