LEXINGTON – Water in the city of Lexington is completely safe again after recent testing indicated high levels of Nitrite.
Lexington city officials say repairs were made to its water treatment plant that temporarily lead to those high levels of nitrite, which is unsafe for infants.
Lexington officials say they received test results this afternoon from PDC Laboratories, Inc. that indicated the nitrite levels were back in compliance.
