ISU, IWU men’s basketball on the air Saturday

BLOOMINGTON – Illinois State and Illinois Wesleyan men’s basketball dominates the WJBC 1230 AM airwaves today, beginning at 2 p.m. with ISU pregame show.

That will be followed at 3 p.m. with play-by-play of the ISU at Missouri State matchup in Missouri Valley Conference action. The Redbirds are 12-10 overall and 6-3 in the league. Missouri State is 8-13 overall and 4-5 in the Valley.

Meanwhile, IWU travels to Carthage for a 7 p.m. game. The Titans have a 10-9 overall record and a 4-4 mark in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin standings. Carthage is 6-11 and 2-6, respectively.

On your computer or smartphone at wjbc.com, the IWU women’s basketball team takes plays at Carthage at 5 p.m. The Titans are tied for first in the CCIW with a 6-2 record and are 11-8 overall. Carthage is 3-5 in the league and 7-12 overall.

Meanwhile, the Bloomington Thunder is in Omaha to take on the Lancers at 7 p.m. in hockey action.
