BLOOMINGTON – Bloomington voters in Ward 4 have narrowed the field of candidates seeking a spot on the city council.

Amelia Buragas and Jeremy Kelley took home the most votes in Tuesday's primary election, which featured four candidates on the ballot and another running a write-in campaign.

Buragas took home 55.38 percent of the vote, while Kelley grabbed 16.65 percent. Kelley narrowly defeated Don Frank who had 13.48 percent of votes.

Buragas and Kelley will now face off in the April election.  Ward 4 incumbent Judy Stearns has decided not to run for re-election.

883 votes were cast Tuesday, representing just 16 percent of registered voters in Ward 4.
