Easter Seals to hold fundraiser at a gun range

NORMAL- Easter Seals is hosting a benefit at the C.I. Shooting Sports complex in Normal.

Owner Jeanette Stewart said “Shooting for Progress” will be held Thursday from 6 until 9 p.m.

“We try and find a selection of firearms for some people who may not be as versed in shooting,” Stewart said. “They will actually watch a range safety video before they go out, if they haven’t already. Then they’ll get out on the range with instructors at every single base so we can help everyone shooting safely.

Tickets are $65 per person if you plan to fire a weapon and $35 per person if you don’t. No FOID card is needed for the event.
