WJBC, in partnership with Frontier Communications and Roberts Trophies, is proud to present the WJBC Athletes of the Week.

Winners for the week of March 21, 2016:

Colleen Prior – Central Catholic Girls Soccer

Colleen scored four goals in the opening week of the season, including both Saints’ tallies in a 2-1 win over Greenville at the Spring Cup Tournament in Carlinville.

Cary Lockhart – Bloomington Boys Track and Field

Cary won three individual events (long jump, 60- and 200-meter dashes) and anchored the winning 4×200 relay team to lead the Purple Raiders to a fifth straight indoor Big 12 Conference Track championship at Shirk Center.
