MOUNT STERLING – One Western Illinois town has seen enough.
It is considering cutting off water to a state facility that might think of disconnection as something more than an inconvenience. Tonight, Mount Sterling City Council members will consider cutting off water service to the state prison there as the state’s overdue bill has approached $370,000.
The Mount Sterling medium-security prison houses 1,800 inmates.
