PONTIAC – Frequent rain in recent weeks has left the Thresherman’s Park north of Pontiac unusable for the annual Thresherman’s reunion.
It’s the first time in the event’s 68-year history that the event is being canceled.
“We felt it would be a disservice to our visitors, exhibitors and vendors to have a show where there would be little activity on the grounds due to wet conditions,” the Central States Thresherman’s Reunion posted on its Facebook page Wednesday.
The Thresherman’s Parade is still on schedule for 1:15 p.m. Sunday.
