BLOOMINGTON – Greyhound is adding service to Bloomington-Normal.
The service will run from Chicago to St. Louis with a stop at the Pilot truck stop on Market Street in Bloomington. Tickets for the service will need to be purchased at www.Greyhound.com.
Travel to Chicago and St. Louis is currently offered by Amtrak, but WJBC has learned Greyhound will make stops earlier in the morning and later in the evening.
The company is targeting college students who attend Illinois State University and Illinois Wesleyan University.
Company Spokeswoman Allison Morrison says Greyhound offers service to more than 3800 locations. She said the buses offer wi-fi, power outlets, and guaranteed seating.
