WJBC, in partnership with Frontier Communications and Roberts Trophies, is again proud to present the High School Athletes of the Week. Here are the winners for the week of May 4, 2015:

Amy Nelson – Normal West Softball

Amy went 11-14 with three homeruns in four Wildcats wins. She drove in the game-winning run with a double in the seventh inning in a win over East Peoria.

Tyler Washington – Normal Community Tennis

Tyler won the singles title as the Ironmen claimed the Central Illinois Invitational in Normal.
