Report: ISU lands Bethune-Cookman transfer

NORMAL – Illinois State men’s basketball has reportedly landed a transfer from Bethune-Cookman.

Jeff Goodman of ESPN reports Quintin Brewer, a 6-foot-7, 220-pound forward, has committed to ISU, where he will have one year of eligibility remaining.

ISU has not commented on the report. School officials are unable to comment until a student athlete officially signs with a university.

Brewer played one season at Bethune-Cookman after transferring from Gordon State College in Georgia.

He started 17 games last season, scoring 9.2 points per game last season and averaging seven rebounds.
