athleteoftheweek WJBC Radio, in conjunction with Meatheads of Bloomington-Normal, Clay Dooley Tire and Auto and Roberts Trophies, is proud to present the WJBC Athletes of the Week.

Winners for the week of Oct. 31, 2016:

Kate Hoerdemann – Central Catholic Volleyball

Kate led the Saints with 11 kills in a Class 3A regional semifinal win over Prairie Central. She added five kills and four aces in the regional championship win over Streator.

Nathan Clay – U-High Soccer

Nathan scored two goals to lead the Pioneers to 3-1 win over Westchester St. Joseph in the Class 1A title game in East Peoria.
