WJBC, in partnership with Frontier Communications and Roberts Trophies, is again proud to present the High School Athletes of the Week.

Keely Theobald – Normal West Soccer

Keely netted a hat trick in the Wildcats’ 8-0 win over Champaign Centennial. She scored four goals in a 7-0 win over Bloomington. The Illinois State recruit has moved up to eighth place all time in scoring in Illinois history.

Hunter Cobbley – El-Paso Gridley Track

Hunter won the 800 (2:06.50), 1,600 (4:40.32) and 3,200-meter runs (10:25.57) at the McLean County/Heart of Illinois Conference Meet at Tremont to lead the Titans to their first conference victory.
