Cardinals, Redbirds DH, CornBelters opener on WJBC

The St. Louis Cardinals return home for a brief three-game homestand against the Detroit Tigers.

Carlos Martinez will pitch in the series opener for St. Louis while the Tigers will the Tigers will counter with righthander Shane Greene. WJBC will take you to Busch Stadium at 7:05 p.m. with Mike Shannon and John Rooney.

Tim Lewis will host Sportstalk before the game starting at 6 p.m. Listen on WJBC 1230 AM and WJBC.com.

The Normal CornBelters will open the 2015 season in O’Fallon, Missouri against the River City Rascals.

Illinois State plays the hosts Indiana State for a doubleheader at Duffy Bass Field. The first game has been moved up to a noon start following Thursday’s rainout. Listen live on the Redbird webcast page of WJBC.com.
