BLOOMINGTON – Another candidate has announced a run for Mayor of Bloomington.
Ian Bayne has joined current Mayor Tari Renner, and aldermen Diana Hauman and Kevin Lower, in the race which will be decided next year.
In a statement, Bayne said the “city is out of control with government spending, tax hikes, and roads that have been forgotten.” He said if elected he would bring down the sales tax to 6.5 percent from 8.75 percent.
