WJBC, in partnership with Frontier Communications and Roberts Trophies, is again proud to present the High School Athletes of the Week.

Here are the winners for the week of May 18, 2015:

Elexis Schwartzentruber – Normal Community Softball

Elexis hit a 7th inning grand slam to lead the Ironmen to a come-from-behind win over previously undefeated Moline. She also homered in a win over Washington.

Reid Birlingmair – Normal West Baseball

Reid pitched a six-inning no hitter in the Wildcats’ 3-0 win over Champaign Centennial. He was also the winning pitcher while batting 4-for-4 in a 10-1 win over Normal Community.
