Betty Hall
Betty Mae Hall, 87, Leroy and formerly of Fairbury, died at 9:54 p.m. Feb . 11 at Liberty Village, Leroy.
Her funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury with Pastors Patricia and Rennon Elliott officiating. Burial will be in Avoca Twp. Cemetery, Fairbury.
Visitation will be 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Friday also at the memorial home. The family suggests memorials be given to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Mrs. Hall was born Sept. 16, 1929 in Gibson City the daughter of Everett and Laurabell Schwartz Butler. She married Paul Hall on Jan. 18, 1947 in Gibson City. He survives in Leroy.
Other survivors include four daughters, Diana (Vince) Puleo, Bayville, N.J., Paulette Mervine, Apple Valley, Minn., Pastors Patricia (Rennon) Elliott, Tucson, Ariz., Darlene (Mark) Mundell, Normal, seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, one sister, Linda Persons, Farmer City, and one brother, Paul (Carol) Butler, Saybrook.
She is preceded in death by four brothers, two sisters, and two grandchildren.
Mrs. Hall formerly worked at the Fairbury Dress Factory and was a member of the 1st United Methodist Church, Fairbury.
